DAI Labs Selected to Present at JICA's "Forest Platform" Member Networking Event
DAI Labs is pleased to announce that we have been selected to present at the “Forest Platform Member Networking Event,” hosted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under its “Forest Platform” initiative (a network connecting organizations working to advance nature-based solutions).
Event Overview
The event will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at JICA’s Kojimachi headquarters in Tokyo, with the aim of promoting information exchange and partnerships around natural environment conservation in Japan and in developing countries.
On the day, companies, organizations, and research institutions active in the field of natural environment conservation will gather to introduce their respective initiatives and future plans. Around eight organizations are expected to present, and DAI Labs is honored to be among them.

What We’ll Present: Introducing CanopyScope
At the event, we will introduce CanopyScope, our AI-powered satellite platform for forest monitoring. By analyzing ALOS SAR data, high-resolution optical satellite imagery, and drone data, CanopyScope generates near real-time visualizations of forest land use and biomass, while generative AI streamlines project development and monitoring report creation. We will also share examples of our work in developing countries, including our field research on forest fire prevention in the Democratic Republic of Congo, along with our future outlook in this area.
Looking Ahead
Leveraging Japan’s advanced satellite data and AI capabilities, DAI Labs supports the development of high-quality carbon credit projects that meet the needs of Japan’s carbon markets, including the JCM and GX-ETS. Beyond carbon credits, this same technology foundation can be applied to a range of other fields, such as monitoring Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) in rice agriculture, as well as infrastructure and disaster monitoring.
Through this presentation, we look forward to connecting with the diverse stakeholders of the Forest Platform network and exploring new partnerships toward natural environment conservation.
